Father says hearing aids are too big for ear canal and hurt. Looking for insight on custom tips and cost.

My father got hearing aids from Costco and they put on the smallest silicone tips but he refuses to wear them saying that his ear canals are too small and that even the smallest tips hurt.

I know next to nothing about hearing aids. If he were to go to an audiologist would they be able to custom fit tips to his existing hearing aids? Would they potentially still hurt his ears? What is the average cost (for one pair, assuming he has insurance but would also be good to know the out of pocket cost)? If they’re a few hundred, I’d be willing to spend the money to see if they help.

I fear if we can’t figure this out for him, he will deteriorate quickly without his hearing. Thank you in advance.

I’ve been trying to make reservations for restaurants for dinner in Athens as I have a group of 8 people and in the past it’s been hard to seat that many people as a walk in. However, several places I’ve tried require a deposit and have a minimum spend of €40-€50 per person. I’ve never experienced this before in Athens. Is this becoming more common?

Hi! I’ve been to Greece a few times and love my daily freddo cappuccino when there, however since the last time I’ve gone can no longer have caffeine. Is it common that cafes have decaf? If so, how do I order a decaf freddo cappuccino? Thank you!
