Want to use this 36VDC to power a flatbed dolly. What batteries/supply would work for me?

Took this from a large self-propelled carpet extractor. I tested it with my treadmill motor supply and it works. I doubt I'll need the full 36 volts, as a flatbed loaded up with heavy stuff has no business going fast. I assume I need a power supply to avoid inrush current. How would you power this?

Thanks for any info!

It's "School Purge" season. Science teacher says "someone please take these or they're going in the trash".

Any chance this is pyrite in this Lake Superior agate? UP, Michigan

It's horrendously difficult to photograph this small sub-surface inclusion. Please forgive me.

Does anyone add salt to their water to increase the buoyancy force?

I'm new to panning and I can't find much discussion on this topic. I've been panning some extremely magnetite/garnet rich sand and I was brainstorming ways to separate it more reliably. In theory I think that increasing the density of the water would make stratifying everything go more smoothly.

Thoughts?

My first ever flake! I think I like this hobby.

I need to learn a lot more about technique and strategy, but I'm geeked to find this.

Recycling: What can be done to get people to do it correctly?

So yeah...anyone who's worked in a school knows the recycling is a disaster. We have "co-mingled" bins that require no sorting and even those are being straight up sabotaged.

What policies/tactics have you seen actually work? I was thinking about moving all the bins to behind the teachers' desks so that they're cognizant of what's being put there.

School is having major construction this summer. Any advice for cleaning around all the chaos?

I've done a summer deep clean during construction once in the past, and it was a pain. Concrete dust got everywhere and there was constant traffic through the building.

Any advice for preventing extra work from needing to be done?
