our pack of bird dogs is growing (another Vizsla puppy is arriving in a few weeks — too many red dogs imo 😂) and Remus was smitten with the newest addition 🥹 he’s never been around puppies before so i wasn’t sure how he would react, but he was obsessed with her and kept checking in on her the entire hike.

my favourite time of the year in our town.

Remus was a puppy last year during lupine season, but i didn’t get many photos due to timing (he arrived a week before i went on a week long work trip), so I’m making the most out of this year.

(they are poisonous and considered an invasive species, but he’s a good boy and surprisingly doesn’t try to eat them — despite wanting to put everything else in his mouth.)
