Building something for brand lovers and brands. Would love this community's honest take

Building something for brand lovers and brands. Would love this community's honest take

Hello everyone!

We're two founders building something called Konyct - a place meant to help small/emerging Nepali brands actually hear from the customers who care about them most, instead of just chasing likes and followers.

We're starting with a pilot in one category to get it right before expanding further, but the idea itself isn't tied to any one industry. It's meant to work for any brand with genuine regulars weather that's food&beverage, fashion, tech and so on.

Before we go further, we wanted to come to a community that actually understands running a business in Nepal because we know there's a real gap between "sounds good in theory" and "actually works for a small business here".

A few things we'd genuinely value your take on:

if you run a brand or small business - what's your actual experience been with building customer loyalty/community here? What's worked and what hasn't?

If you are a regular somewhere - a shop, a cafe, a service you keep coming back to - What would actually make you feel recognized, beyond a discount?

Anyone who's tried building a community or loyalty programs in the Nepali market - What would you tell us before we make the same mistake?

We genuinely want to learn from people who know this market better than we do. Happy to share more about what we're building if anyone's curios but mainly just want to hear how this community sees it.

Thanks for reading. Appreciate your knowledge, thoughts, expertise, even critical ones.

What are some homegrown Nepali brands you actually trust or use? (be it any category)

Curious to build a list of Nepali brands that are actually worth knowing about. Whether it's a coffee brand, local clothing label, a food company, a tech startup, or a lifestyle brand, please drop them below!

If you're a founder or part of a brand team, feel free to introduce yourselves too.

I'll compile all the responses into a list.
