Noise request

Hey everyone, just a friendly reminder to please be mindful of fireworks this weekend. They can be really overwhelming for LGBTQ+ with sensory sensitivities, and we want everyone to feel safe and included. Loud noises and flashing lights can be a lot to handle. Let's try to find other ways to celebrate a colonized holiday that doesn't involve potential distress for some members of our community. The queer community is already disadvantaged from all the oppressor celebrations. Thanks for understanding!

Pansexual/Panromantic Day

There are too many LGBTQIA+ people who are never remembered for their bravery and courage. Many of us in the bay area queer community are persecuted for our visibility. That is why we choose not to celebrate memorial day or any cis hetero holidays. Instead we promote love and inclusion instead of hatred. Stand for all.of us not just some. Consider putting out the progress pride flag which encompasses all people instead of displaying the oppressive red white and blue flag of slavery and hate. Door County is more progressive than every before because of loving organizations like Open Door Pride where everyone belongs.
