Struggling with choices.
- Maximum budget: $4500 AUD
- Screen size: 120"
- Distance from back wall or preferred mounting position to screen wall.
- Seating distance: 3.6-3.8m(12ft)
- How will you mount. Open to Standard Throw (ceiling mounted) or Ultra Short Throw (cabinet mounted).
- Usage: 75% movies, 25% gaming(single player PC)
- Room type: Dedicated theatre space (4.2m x 4.2m x 2.5m ceiling)
- Lighting: Light-controlled room. Windows are fully blacked out (heavy tinting + heat-resistant foam backing) with only dimmable LED accent lights.
- Room colours: Dark walls, black back wall, white ceiling (planning to paint darker soon).
- Audio Setup: Planning a 5.1.2 or 5.2.2 Dolby Atmos system.
I have a 4.2mx4.2m (13ftx13ft) dedicated room that had a 75" LED in it till recently it was damaged.
I'ld like to refit the entire room for a projector usage. There is almost zero light able to enter the room due to blacked out windows from tinting and heat resistant foam backing. Hopefully someone can give me some good recommendations. issue has been there are so many conflicting recommendations on the site.
3D is kind of a must, HDR i guess is desired. Some i've seen are:
- Hisense PX4 PRO 4K UHD ($4499 AUD)
- Formovie Theatre 4K ($3895)
- Valerion VisionMaster Pro2 ($3599)
- XGIMI Horizon 20 4K ($3999)
- Epson EH-TW9400 ($3580)
I'm not tied to any of these, i've just seen some around like the above! I'm open to anything!
