I live overseas and my mother called to let me know that Dad said he believes and wants last rites.
I don't remember of haven't heard what this is but want to know what to expect from this. Mom said she'd look into doing a video call at the time.
I haven't set foot in a church in at least 15 years and that was for a wedding. I haven't had communion in more than 20 and the last time I remember dad being in a church was when I had my first communion.
All this is to say that I don't know what to do here or what this does for someone's soul or journey or I don't even know what.
