hi i'm using vcodex (my fave fork so far) and i'm just wondering if anyone of u are also having issues with book covers not showing when light mode is on? it works perfectly with dark mode so i'm not sure what went wrong...

i'm currently on the latest fw release (1.2.0.41)

my new x4 case came in today and this setup reminds me of old mac computers for some reason 😂 i'm really loving this device. my forever problem with it is the lack of backlight but that's okay reading on my kindle at night will suffice 😂

this is my go to e-reader na pag lalabas icb super crisp din ng screen nya for its price 😂 kung may backlight lang talaga to ito na daily driver ko e pero mas gamit ko pa rin ppw ko pag nasa bahay (which is madalas kasi wfh ako) super sulit!! nakatapos na ako ng isang book dito and baka matapos ko na tong binabasa ko ngayon 😂

i cancelled my x4 order upon reading all those firmware lock issues few days ago but i saw someone selling theirs in the marketplace for a decent price (barely used) and it's crosspoint ready so i immediately grabbed it.

it's my first time going out today without my paperwhite 12th gen and it's honestly such a relief not having a bulky ereader inside my bag 🤩 i still reach for my ppw at home because i liked reading before bed but i'm so glad i bought this little guy - the screen is so crisp too 😍

i played around diff firmwares since i got this and i'm loving the vcodex so far.

managed to finish 9 books this month. 1 book short of my previous total reads last march 😅 wala rin akong 5 star reads ngayon huhu pero probably my most favorite read ngayong buwan ay "we burned so bright" kahit na ambigat nya basahin despite it only having less than 200 pages 🥲
