Haven't picked up a box of Blockees in a while but just received Defender 7 and Wheels 3 (just in time for Wheels 4 it seems). Do they not include a larger art card with the boxes anymore? I probably missed that whole memo.

I'm always interested in the collecting ethos of my fellow TF fans. What do you collect? How do you collect? Any qualities that will instantly sell you on a figure? Do you prefer brand new in the box or do you just buy whatever you can afford?
Personally, I'm a sucker for a good gimmick. When it comes to collecting figures, I'll always go for some kind of -master (head/target/titan/prime/action) and if they made actual Pretenders again, I would scoop them all. I also rarely get BRAND NEW figures; I'm not in it for the latest and newest thing. I do what I refer to as "bot adoption": getting loose bots from an LCS or somebody off FB marketplace. Maybe I'll just find a rando and it'll endear itself to me. I also like little guys; core class, legends class, scout class, whatever... Literal pocket bots (Dr. Wu and MFT are sick of me atp). But this all means I don't care if something is a KO or even a 3P KO; a cool bot is a cool bot.
First post as I recently came to acquire a handful of GoBots in varying stages of condition. The ones above are just the most complete. I also have Tank without his guns and Flip Top without his main propeller. Furthermore, I do have a duplicate Hans Cuff and Loco (Hans 2 is missing two tires and Loco 2 is missing an arm) and two Dozers both of whose leg joints absolutely disintegrated upon initial transformation but this is the kind of project I'm looking for when it comes to toy restoration.

Back when I was building AOTP Superion, I tried to order Skydive to finish the set. I was a bit impatient and didn't want to wait 3+ weeks for Hasbro to actually get it to me, so I ordered him from a 3rd party reseller off Amazon. Anyway, I got swapped and they sent me Combiner Wars Skydive in AOTP Skydive's box and without any weapons, accessories, or instructions (so he wouldn't even be worth having as part of a CW Superion set). Originally I was going to send him back and recoup my money but I decided to keep him; thought it would be nice to have an undedicated bot that didn't really belong with anything else I was collecting at the time. After a while, though, he's become one of my favorite daily desk toys. Skydive was always my favorite out of the Aerialbots and I don't mind having multiple versions of him, even without the rest of the team and despite how stiff and awkward CW bots can be. Does anyone else have any bots like this? Maybe they fell in your lap or, like me, you got them in a sour deal?
I've since armed him with Legacy Slipstream's guns since they didn't suit her to begin with.
EDIT: This is now a post about getting scammed/how I've been collecting for 20 years but I'm still somehow a dumbass 😂

I'm talking Transformers x Dungeons and Dragons. Hasbro owns Transformers AND they own Wizards of the Coast (who own D&D) so how is it the only D&D related transformable figures we get are these D20 Dice Changers? Mind you, they're kinda cool for what they are but imagine red dragon Megatron (I mean, you don't have to, since it happened) vs Paladin Optimus with a great sword battlemaster.
I didn't take this picture but I did see this same display at Walmart today and it occurred to me that this might be a response to resellers and scalpers, being that there's only one or two of each figure on the entirety of the display and none on the general Transformers section of the shelves. This occurred to me shortly after cutting through the Hot Wheels aisle of the toy section and immediately encountering a group of at least 5 scalpers/resellers tearing through the Hot Wheels display with phones in hand (likely price matching). Is Hasbro getting a little wise to this or am I thinking too much into it?
I was rearranging my collection after getting some new bots and I sat TFOne Airachnid next to Siege Skywarp and it hit me how they have the exact same shade of gray. This triggered the single monkey neuron in my brain and I said "I ship it". Then I remembered they are both aircraft and I said "I literally ship them". I don't know where I'm going with this, because I don't have the wherewithal for fanfiction but accept my double entendre.
