Scroll Change Rationale?
I figure the new scroll system is very subject to change. But I'm trying to understand when you would ever use the regular 10% scroll over the chaos scroll.
To recap:
- 10% scroll now gives +3 stat instead of +5
- New 10% 'chaos scroll' gives +5 stat, but explodes the item on failure
But I don't get it, if you fail a regular 10% scroll, your item is worthless anyway, you throw it on the ground. On a clean item, there are two crafting paths:
- You use a 10% scroll. It fails. You throw the item on the ground
- You use a chaos scroll. It fails. The item is destroyed
These are the same outcome, but the 10% scroll has 66% less effect on the item on success. Wut?
