I turned 18 within the last year, and I want to find something to go do and make friends. Currently a CBC student, and work makes it nearly impossible to attend any clubs that don’t fall on a Thursday or Friday.
Is there any known nightlife for those under 21, especially as someone who wants to meet new people?
This is my second time attending a chalk art festival, and ours comes with a competition for each age group. My friend and I are now both in the 18+ category, and thought it’d be fun to do a collaborative piece (with the caveat that we can’t draw on each other’s tiles ofc)
Her style really leans into photo realism, and she works best with monochromatic color palettes. My style on the other hand is not at all realism, and when I use chalk incorporates a wide pallet of bright colors, and turns very pop art-y. Which also means any continuous design onto her tile will need to be simplistic enough she can continue it without much struggle.
This was our concept (left: hers, right: mine)
The 2nd image was my 3rd place piece in the 12-17 category. (Which was a complete test bc that’s not my style at alll)
