River style aquascape

Hey y'all....this is my river style aquascape with spider wood for a Malawi cichlid tank....can you guys rate my scape and suggest some changes to make my tank more visually appealing along with which type of rock to match the aesthetics of this tank....also should I go for a planted setup with aquasoil or use sand along with ferns, anubias and moss🤔

Canister Filter help

I have a 2.5ft x 1ft x 1ft tank and I plan to make it a planted one with aquasoil and maybe co2

But there are so many canister filters out there and I'm confused about which one to choose

Can you guys help me by sharing your experiences with various canister filters, how easy it is in terms of maintenance and everything I need to know....also my budget for a canister is under 3k

I have looked into a few hang on back canister filters but my glass is only 5mm and I don't want to put any strain on the glass

First Saltwater tank guidance

So I'm planning to setup my first ever saltwater tank, I'm planning to do a FOWLR only setup and maybe once the tank matures I might add corals or macroalgae...I have done my research and know about the salinity levels, ro water requirments long cycling periods and evaporation, etc

So about the tank size which one should I opt for:

A 1.5ft cubic tank(91litres) or a 2ft x 1ft x 2ft tank(54 litres)

Next the filtration:

Should I get an internal sump filtration partition done like those all in one aquariums or get a hang on back filter(sunsun ybf 500)

Now the hardscape:

I don't know whether sansibar rocks are ideal or not and I also want a rock which will give that reef look, but I can't do live reef rocks tho as they are way above my budget

Apart from these can you guys also share any tips or things you'd have done differently or general advice before starting a saltwater tank

So I'm planning to make a tank for pea puffers and the tank size I have decided is a 35 cm cubic tank which is about 42 litres or 11 US gallons....realistically how many pea puffers can I stock cuz I have seen some people keep 4-5

Also what kind of layout is suitable for this species and any other advice or things to look out for as someone who's interested in keeping them(I am aware of their diet requirements which consists of a mix of live and frozen food)
