$4600 - 4200mi - 2008 wr250x - Greater Boston
I already regret this. Being a dad sometimes forces these decisions.
For sale is my 2nd owner, clean title, 4200mi 2008 wr250x.
Con up front: wiring near ecu had portions of insulation removed by rodent. Somehow no damage to the copper itself. The issue was present but unnoticed when I test drove the bike during the purchase from the original owner. It ran flawlessly as it still does, after repair with liquid electrical tape. I am missing one underseat bolt and one panel bolt on ride side over airbox. 1500 trouble free miles.
if this gives pause (as it should) I am obviously open to negotiation. Seems like a discount my asking price by the cost of a new wire harness, abt $650 might work for some folks. Open to this.
More Better news: when I bought it i did a bunch of maintenance in 2023. Shinko 705’s with 1500mi on them, along w:
Galfer braided brake lines, new seals throughout both front and rear piston/reservoir/caliper with new ebc pads.
Acerbis handguards, moose plastic engine guard, alu radiator guard, alu rack on the tail for luggage
el cheapo cell phone mount
fresh air and oil filter (oil has 100mi currently.)
flushed and filled radiator
suspension set up w Dave Moss Tuning, I am 195 and 6’ for reference. Also note: I have gear for sale cheap too. aerostitch/sedici/sidi/klim stuff.
