I've seen the following unit:

It seems to be an active antenna combiner that covers the frequencies my IEM systems use. Is there anyone with more wireless theoretical knowledge than me that could provide some insight as to why it's a terrible idea?

I bought one of these mic rails to attach to the bottom of my drum cloud. I'm trying to find additional lugs (the threads to attach mics) but on-stages documentation says nothing about them.

Has anyone managed to home brew something?
