Hey! I’m starting to switch up my style to y2k and I was wondering what kind of tops I should search for since I dress pretty modest and I don’t like my arms showing. Your help means a lot thank you!
Hi! I'm a rising senior interested in applying to NYU, George Washington University, UNC Chapel Hill, and Berkeley! Where can I apply for scholarships that can give me good money for these schools? I signed up for a weekly email for scholarships, but it's been almost a year, and I haven't gotten a single one
Has anyone gotten accepted into Georgetown with a really bad SAT/ACT score? How can I make my application stand out and better my chances of getting in with a HORRIBLE ACT score :((
Hi everyone!
I'm a rising high school senior interested in studying neuroscience and biology in college. I'm considering a future in healthcare/biotechnology, and my dream schools include Berkeley, UNC Chapel Hill, NYU, and George Washington University.
I'm hoping to earn strong scholarships or merit aid, so l'd love advice from current students, graduates, or anyone familiar with these schools.
Some questions I have:
Admissions & Scholarships
• What can I do during my senior year to improve my chances of admission and scholarships?
• What extracurriculars stand out most for neuroscience/ biology applicants?
• Are there any programs, certifications, summer opportunities, or awards I should pursue?
Preparing for the Major
• Neuroscience and biology seem very challenging. What study habits helped you succeed?
• What subjects should I strengthen before college?
• How do you manage large amounts of memorization without burning out?
Career Questions
• What jobs can you realistically get with only a bachelor's degree in neuroscience or biology?
• Is a master's degree worth it, and what additional opportunities does it open up?
• Have any of you found good remote or hybrid jobs with a background in neuroscience or biology?
• If you graduated with one of these degrees, what career path did you end up taking?
For context, I have leadership experience and volunteer involvement, and I'm making the most of my final year
before college applications.
Thank you for any advice, experiences, or recommendations!
