Saw a cat tied up in a society is this actually okay?

Saw a cat tied up in my society... is this actually okay? 🥀

I saw a cat in a society today tied up with a rope, and it was the first time I noticed it. I asked the security guard why the cat was being kept like this.

They told me that if they let the cat roam freely, it fights with other cats and comes back injured, so they keep it tied to prevent injuries.

I tried to comfort the cat, and it kept trying to get closer to me and seemed desperate to get some freedom. Honestly, it made me feel really bad. 🥀

I’m not trying to blame anyone because I don’t know the whole situation. Maybe there’s a genuine reason, but is keeping a cat tied like this a safe/acceptable solution? Are there better ways to prevent fights while still allowing the cat some freedom?

As i love the cats, but I can't do anything. What should I do in this situation? Give opinions folks

Sanpada/Vashi quick commerce crackdown? FDA raid or society pressure? 👀

Lately something strange is happening in Navi Mumbai.

First, Zepto and Instamart stores around Sanpada and Vashi started shutting down. No clear explanation given .... just suddenly closed.

Now today at Blinkit (Sanpada, Kshipra Building), around 15 police personnel showed up with a bus and 2–3 tempos. They started removing everything kept outside the store — benches, AC outdoor units, unloading setup, etc.

Important point: this wasn’t inside the store. It was the outside/society area where deliveries happen.

From what it looked like, then blinkit store owner (not confirmed who is he )asking for proper paperwork/permissions, and after that everything escalated quickly.

Now here’s the real question:

People are clearly enjoying 10–15 min delivery — everyone orders from Blinkit/Zepto/Instamart.

But at the same time, societies are getting irritated with:

Delivery crowd standing outside

Riders blocking space

Noise, litter, random gatherings

So are societies pushing back against these stores?

Or is this some kind of FDA/municipal crackdown on permissions, storage, or operations?

Now, society management and the store decided to designate one lane for Blinkit riders and another for society members. But my question is, does the road come under the society area?

Update - Anyway now everything came back (bench, conditioners....

I love my 1-year-old cat, but I'm struggling financially. Should I rehome him or find a way to manage?

This is Kito, my 1-year-old cat. ❤️ I adopted him when he was around 1 month old, and I've had him ever since.

I'm a student and currently not earning. I come from a financially difficult background, so I can mainly afford basic pet food, while chicken is only occasional. Recently, Kito has also started refusing his pet food, and people tell me he looks too thin. I really want to keep him healthy, but I honestly can't afford expensive food right now.

I'm thinking about getting a job and improving his diet, but I'm also considering temporary fostering if someone can provide better care until I'm financially stable. I don't want to give him away permanently because he's very attached to me and I've had him almost his whole life.

I need practical advice:

What is the cheapest nutritionally complete food for a 1-year-old cat?

Can boiled chicken/egg safely supplement his diet?

What should I do if he refuses his food?

I love Kito, but I don't want my attachment to come before his health. Please give me honest advice and affordable solutions, not just sympathy

Video Evidence: Delhi Police Using Facial Recognition Tech from Vans

My earlier post with this post was removed by the moderators. I'm reposting with the same proof because people deserve to see what's happening with surveillance.

Video shows: Journalists capturing Delhi Police personnel operating facial recognition systems directly from police vans during events/protests.

This raises serious questions:

What is the purpose of deploying face recognition cameras like this at scale?

Is this being used for tracking citizens, potential house arrests, or filing FIRs against protesters/critics?

Ministers have already labeled many as "anti-nationals". Nitin Gadkari and Dharmendra Pradhan have made statements in this direction. Where does this surveillance lead?

I'm not anti-anything just asking for transparency on surveillance tech being used on ordinary citizens. If this is standard procedure, explain it openly. If it's targeted, that's worrying for everyone's civil liberties.

Proof attached/uploaded: Video footage from journalists showing the facial recognition setup in the police van.

What do you think, folk? Let's discuss facts, not just downvote/remove.

Mods: This is a genuine concern post with visual evidence. Not spam, not hate. Please don't delete without clear reason.

Serious question !!!

Why isn't anyone organizing a peaceful protest in Navi Mumbai?

This subreddit has 50k+ members, yet I haven't seen anyone take the initiative to organize a peaceful, lawful protest in Navi Mumbai.

People often say Navi Mumbai is home to educated, well-settled citizens. If that's true, then why are so many staying silent? Peacefully questioning those in power and demanding accountability is part of a healthy democracy.

Many people are planning to travel to Dadar or Chembur to protest. But why not organize one here? If someone knows the legal process and is willing to obtain the necessary permission, please step forward. I'm sure many people would join a peaceful demonstration.

Simple demand : Dharmendra Pradhan should resign.

At the end of the day, I just want to say:

"Abhi nahi toh kab?"

Step out. Speak up. Raise your voice peacefully and within the law. 🙌🏼

Government is watching you

I’m seeing a lot of Gen Z comments promoting violence. Please don't do this.

Mujhe cyber cell ke kaam ka thoda idea hai, isliye ek advice de raha hoon. Kal jo bhi protest ho, peaceful rakho. "Delhi will burn", "aag laga do", ya kisi bhi tarah ki violence promote karne wali comments mat karo. Ye sirf joke nahi hote. Aise posts/comments ke liye BNS Sections 196 & 353 (facts ke hisaab se) jaise serious provisions lag sakte hain.

Aur ye mat sochna ki social media par anonymous ho. Agar legally authorities request karein, to Instagram, Facebook, X aur WhatsApp jaise platforms investigation mein account details share kar sakte hain. Privacy ko lightly mat lo.telegram provide end to end encryption until authorities take you phones.

Agar protest mein ja rahe ho, to peaceful raho, public property ko damage mat karo aur kisi ke behkave mein mat aana.

Safety ke liye: N95 mask pehno (smoke/dust se protection ke liye) aur swimming goggles ya protective glasses use kar lo agar zarurat lage. Public places mein CCTV aur facial recognition systems bhi use ho sakte hain.agge chalke isko use karega and ho sake toh they will investigate

Ye meri personal awareness post hai, legal advice nahi. Stay safe, stay peaceful.

Avoid E-Rickshaws in Matheran – They’re Not Safe Anymore!

Listen everyone carefully, especially those planning a Matheran trip – please read this.

Yesterday my brother was returning down from Matheran at night in an e-rickshaw. On one turn, the rickshaw flipped 2-3 times. All passengers are safe but badly injured:

One person needed 15 stitches on his head

Another got 4-6 stitches on the leg

One had a serious finger injury

Even the driver got hurt

The problem is clear – Matheran’s block roads are not suitable for 3-wheelers. Narrow paths, sharp turns, uneven surface, and many drivers go too fast. I know they need to earn their living, but safety should come first.

If you’re visiting Matheran or any hill station, please avoid e-rickshaws. Walk or take rail instead.

Has anyone else had a bad experience with e-rickshaws here?

Mumbai biggest Goverment Hospital had no basic medicines?

Today I accompanied my mother to a major government hospital in Mumbai for her knee problem. She has been struggling to walk properly for over a year.

The orthopedic doctor checked her X-ray and explained that there is a problem with the knee joint/bone alignment and that a proper treatment procedure would be planned later when a date is finalized. Fair enough.

What surprised me was the prescription. The doctor prescribed:Livogen,Dolo 650,Shelcal 500,Pantosec D SR,Neurobion

These are fairly common medicines. After getting the prescription, I went to the hospital dispensary expecting them to be available since this is one of Mumbai's largest government hospitals.

The dispensary staff told me they didn't have any of the medicines in stock.

I was honestly shocked.

My mother then asked me to request alternative medicines that might be available in the hospital pharmacy. When I went back to the doctor, I was told that pharmacy stock is not under their control. I specifically asked about Dolo 650 and was informed that only Dolo 500 was available, not 650. In the end, we had to buy everything from a private medical store and spent around ₹265. Another issue was the hospital hygiene. The toilets near the entrance were not clean, and there were signs everywhere prohibiting videography, so I couldn't document the condition. My questions are:

Is it normal for a major government hospital to have no stock of such basic medicines? Why prescribe medicines that the hospital pharmacy doesn't have? Is there any official way to complain about medicine shortages and poor hygiene? Has anyone else faced similar issues in large government hospitals in India? I'm not questioning the doctor's diagnosis. My concern is mainly about the lack of medicines and the condition of the facilities. Would like to hear experiences from doctors, hospital staff, and patients who have dealt with similar situations.

Need Career Guidance

I'm 22 and recently completed my BSc IT from Oriental Education Society with an 8.3 CGPA.

I come from a middle-class family and I'm confused about my next step. Should I do an MCA, or should I first get any IT job/internship to gain experience and remove my fresher tag?

My parents want me to start earning soon, which I understand, but I don't want to go into BPO or telecalling. My interest is in cybersecurity, networking, Wireshark, and related areas.;

My English isn't great, and I don't have strong coding skills yet, but I'm willing to learn whatever is needed. I recently got a call from DY Patil University for an online MCA costing ₹1.4 lakh, but that's a big amount for my family, and I'm not sure if it's worth it.

I also see graduates with good CGPAs struggling to get placements, which makes me question what the best path is.

If you were in my position, what would you do? Focus on getting an IT job first, pursue MCA, or take another route?if anyone working in fields any advice or help anything at last i didn't even build resume

Harrasment at bhairaav signature in Belapur

Today I picked up an order from Sanpada for delivery in Belapur. After traveling for nearly an hour and completing two other deliveries on the way, I reached near the customer's building.

Just then, the customer canceled the order.

Since I was already there, I went up and asked why. Nobody opened the door despite a full family being inside. They only talked through the CCTV/door camera. The customer claimed he had called me many times, but I didn't received a single call.

The food was fresh, warm, and undamaged. And i said take it and give half amount atleast I can recover something but he deny through mic he refused. I ended up getting a ₹284 penalty. I waited 5 minutes just to analysing what is happening because I got a penalty and blocked my amount i don't have enough money to unblock my account cuz I filled petrol. That movement i realise how could I get respect what are doing man ur doing the lowest job in India delivery boy people's behaviour.

For some people ₹284 may be nothing, but for a delivery partner that's several hours of work, plus fuel costs.

I left without arguing and wrote a small note plus food before leaving. I know I won't get my money back, but I hope he realizes there's a real person behind every delivery, trying to earn an honest living.

Usually i didn't work in foods. i work as blinkit in sanpada since 3 year but never face this kind of harrasment literally whole family is there when I close the location he cancelled and he didn't even talk not open door talk via cctv camera 🥹

If bike taxis are illegal then why is the government still earning from them?

Government wants to ban bike taxis, but still collects taxes and fees from every ride. Apps take commission government earns revenue customers use the service daily but riders are the only ones facing trouble and uncertainty.

If bike taxis are truly illegal then ban them completely.

Otherwise, legalize and regulate them properly.

Right now riders are the ones suffering while everyone else still makes money from the system.

Today something really disturbing happened with me. I got a Rapido ride from Sanpada to Seawoods. Initial fare was around ₹57, I rejected it. Then the customer added ₹30 extra, so I accepted.

When he came he looked like a normal office guy — decent, well-dressed, nothing suspicious.

I already had my college bag behind me for safety (I usually keep it to maintain distance specially for girls), so that was in place. He Injured not walking normally so he struggling to sit.

When he sat, he grabbed my legs and sat very close — that itself felt odd, but I ignored it. Then start the rude While riding near Nerul signal, he suddenly started touching/searching my left pocket area. First thought: maybe he’s trying to steal my phone. Or theft so i said my self just wait for right time. He didn't go inside searching from upper jeans

Then he moved to the right side and continued. I still tried to rationalize it — maybe he’s unbalanced, maybe leg issue. But slowly it hit me —

he’s not searching for money. He wants something else 🫠

He started moving his hand towards my private area.

When he got the target they didn't just touch 🥲

At that point I panicked. My mind went blank.

I accelerated the bike hard — not to run away, but so I can reach the signal and get a moment to remove his hand safely. I was even praying: and i haven't enough feel isliye “Bas petrol khatam ho jaye, ride yahin ruk jaye.”When I got a chance, I pushed his hand away and said clearly:

“I’m not interested, kisi aur ko pakad.”

Honestly, I thought about stopping the bike in the signal and shouting that I’m being harassed — but I didn’t do it.Why? Because in that moment I hesitated

Log kya bolege ki ladka harass hora hai? Kya baat karre ho 🥲. he looked like a proper office-going person, educated, normal… and that confused me even more.

After I warned him, he stopped touching but his behavior became slightly rude.

He asked me to stop near Jewels. I ignored first because I was scared. Then he said emergency, so I stopped. He casually talked to someone in fluent English like blowing my mind like DAMM how can he doing this shit. That made it worse —

a normal, working professional doing this.

After the ride, he even said: I am doing this thing don't mind

Let’s meet again. Aya karo milne 🥶

That confirmed everything.I told him give your number. So I can post it online about this incident but he mentioned. don’t share please

After that, I couldn’t take rides for 2–3 hours. My mind was stuck.

And at that moment, I genuinely realized:

this is what girls face regularly in buses, trains, everywhere. I talked to my female colleague about this incident n got some sympathy she understand well. When I call to my males once all are laughing as a men what we expect ....how can a man harass

Ik Reddit folks can't understand and ignore.

This incident is not rare many riders face it, like 10/7 riders type situation.

If you think it’s just a story, ask riders yourself.

Rider tak safe nahi hai idhar. 😭

Scroll karte karte Mumbai police ke cyber cell mai ghus gaya 😂

Scrolling karte karte ek reel dikhi and I ended up in what looks like Mumbai Police cyber cell content.

Now here’s the thing — agar koi banda cybersecurity expert hai aur law enforcement ke saath kaam kar raha hai, toh usko basic OPSEC aur confidentiality samajhni chahiye. But yaha openly reels mein bol rahe hai: “aaj phone unlock hua”, “showing tools”, type stuff.

Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha ... yeh awareness hai ya unnecessary exposure?

Cybersecurity ka core principle hi confidentiality hai. Even small operational details public mein dalna can create patterns, give hints, or at least reduce trust in how sensitive work is handled.

Content banana galat nahi hai, but there’s a clear boundary hoti hai — especially jab real investigations involved ho.mujhe toh post dalne mai bhi dar lagra tha banda cell mai kaam krta hain id Blacklist na karde

So genuine question: Kya yeh normal hai aajkal? Ya phir yeh risky aur unprofessional hai and people are just ignoring it for views?
