Still hoping for ID
My original post has a picture of the plant itself. It bloomed but I accidentally knocked off the peduncle before they could all open. I placed it in some water hoping it would open enough to help with identification. Any help appreciated!

Recommendations / experience installing mini-split cooling
Hello fellow Arvadans. I live in a a two-story home built in 2000. The upstairs has always been significantly warmer in the summer months. Sometimes more like 'intolerable'. We've explored many options over the years but I'm notw looking into the possibility of installing one or two mini-splits in upstairs bedrooms. Have you done this and do you have any recommendations for installers and brands or anything to stay away from? Or something that would say this is a terrible idea.
