I’m moving to Leeds soon and I’m considering getting a bike for getting around the city.

How common is bike theft in Leeds, especially around the city centre and the University of Leeds campus?

For those who regularly cycle here, have you had your bike stolen? And what kind of lock/storage setup do you use to reduce the risk?

I’m wondering whether it’s worth getting a bike for everyday use, or whether I’d be constantly worried about it being stolen.
