steps for taking care of urself that make u feel a bit nice.

steps for taking care of urself that make u feel a bit nice.

i improved a little bit in that, so i will share what i did. i encourage people who also have tips/steps to share them in the comments, and i will also add them in this post

i'll start from the more basic to a bit more complex (this is all grooming/image steps, but i wish to add more mental care stuff if i figure them out or if people share any)

**shower (body) :**

note: this alone to **some specific people** *won't* make you feel nice at all, but maybe combining it with more can make it feel bearable:

  1. i bought and chose myself a sponge that's not those flat kinds but one that can gently scrubs, it has 2 sides where one i think feels like a towel but i use the rougher one.

  2. i picked shampoo+conditioner for my specific hair type

  3. i'll include this here in case anyone brushes their teeth in the shower; haven't really done so but you can pick a toothpaste/toothbrush yourself. i have a toothbrush i like (they have toothbrushes of characters in case you like those stuff!) and a mint toothpaste that's supposed to whiten teeths and remove stains. if you have tartar, i managed to remove it with a tool i had at home that i believe is called probe explorer, just scraped it with that.

  4. i also picked a nice smelling deodorant

  5. after dressing, you can spray a perfume you chose and like, it's comforting smelling it so it's a very nice addition

**face care:**

  1. you probably have blackheads/acne, so to start treating that, i started washing my face morning - evening, with a specific cleanser (an hydrating one) + put a moisturizer cream on, and in the evening, salicylic acid serum (this solves acne)

notes: don't scrub with sponges/brushes, it can irritate your skin and make everything worse. it might not be a good idea to mix 2 different types of cleansers

  1. if you have dry lips, use chapstick

  2. you can pluck your eyebrows

  3. this, i started doing it today: i felt really ugly and noticed my face was assymetric, so i started doing face exercises. here is what helped me:

(you should do these especially if you rarely talk/smile)

[uneven jaw: https://imgur.com/a/GxYHUvd , noticeably uneven eyes: https://imgur.com/a/twUqyPP , swollen looking cheeks: sadly didnt find a technique for that, i just massaged applying pressure] notes: it is important to try and remember yourself to relax the face if you have a tendency of stiffening it.]

**hair:**

  1. i did a cool haircut! and it was simple to cut it, here is the simple tutorial i used (for trimming hair on top) https://youtube.com/shorts/Bz1LZVcnt0U?is=iPa8GE1YUnQwM9Uj

  2. i style my hair, so i bought products for that. if you wish to dye your hair, hair clips extensions are an option, no mantainance needed, no hassle of dying everytime. and you might even find cool patterns

i have wrote something a bit disgusting i'd say

sigh.

"

tutorial on how to be confident so i make people drool over me so i feed myself of the praises that i need so bad, become a manwhore and break people's hearts out of spite? joking on the last one.. i'd never do that, and that's even hotter of me. this is not s//xual to me, its about something deeper. bruh i dont even know what im talking about. why am i saying these shit. might be going crazy "

double sigh. i already had thoughts like putting myself on the internet (again nothing sexual, please do not get me wrong)

and that's all for my rant of today, thanks for reading.

massage your jaw, you need it

me too. i also needed to put it in place, though i don't know if i do everything correctly. if anybody else can use it, i also did this exercise (timestamp: 02:13) because my jaw is uneven. matter of fact, you should stretch EVERYTHING.
