I'm currently in NJ and considering moving to the Duluth area. If you're also originally from NJ, please share your thoughts on how you're liking it. I love NJ due to its close proximity to basically everything you can think of but the cost of living is outrageous.

Hey all!! I’m about to lose my ever loving mind.
My husband’s shoes become literal rags after a few months of wear. He has a good rotation of shoes (7-8 pairs) that he wears to work and outside of work. The shoes become so heavily creased and they lose their structure quickly. He has wide feet so i buy him wide fit shoes and they still end up looking crazy. He works in IT so he does mostly desk work with some setup work here and there.
Is there any way to restore shoes to their natural shape or how can i prevent this from happening so quickly? I’m pretty much replacing his shoes every 4-5 months at this point.
Edit - he mostly wears Johnston & Murphy for work and Hoka, Onclouds, Nikes for outside of work!
2nd edit - I started looking at shoe trees based on the many replies here and now I’m wondering if his sweaty feet contribute to the increased creasing? He does sweat a lot so maybe that’s what’s causing the sagging and creasing of the shoes!
