Okay so I bought a balcony ticket the minute they went onsale cause the lineup of performers sounded good. It was a “cheap” ticket but all the tickets were still $100+ cause it’s a benefit performance. I dressed nice for the evening.
Anyways, I knew exactly where my seat was but I wanted a program so I went to the usher who then directed me to a subsequent usher. I showed him my ticket and he was like “you’re…..” and I just pointed up to where my seat was to show him I knew where I was going and so he didn’t have to figure it out. Anyways I guess this was super rude because he then threw my program in disgust on the ground. I had to pick it up and it felt like everyone was watching and I was so so embarrassed. Honestly put a damper on the whole night. I just wanted to cry.
