I usually do not pick puzzles to do ahead of time, because it's just too hard to predict what I'm in the mood for. Last May, I did a little project to complete some of my undesirable puzzles, I thought I'd do a similar project, but with some of the images that I actually like. These are my picks:
Part and Whole, ArtLover Printworks 1000
The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ravensburger 500
Sunny Beach Terrace, Grateful House 1000
Last Chance Gas, Chuffed 1000
Classic Tales, D-Toys 2000
The Buffalo, Pomegranate 1000
A little cozy, a little horror, a little classic, a little sci-fi, a little fairy tale, and a little realism. They are all different and beautiful in their own way, like a midsummer variety show! It's too hot to do anything outdoors right now, might as well do some pretty puzzles! (Who am I kidding, I don't like doing stuff outside anyway lol!)
We will see how many I actually complete!
Do you pick puzzles ahead of time? A theme or a project? Tell me yours!
You don't see this anywhere anymore, not on Tuesdays Wednesdays or Thursdays, nowadays people are just glued to their own screens. I enjoy Pom puzzles, they have great fine art image selections, good piece fit, and excellent reproduction of the source materials, however, their cardboard quality is not the best. After doing several premium Chinese brands (there are a lot of great Chinese branded puzzles), this cardboard backing seems very mediocre (last picture), Pom puzzles are all printed in China, they should really consider upping their game and switch to a better manufacturer.
Some areas are seeing aqi well into the hazardous range, please stay safe! I have a lot of family and friends (Canada & US) that are currently dealing with complications of the smoke and extremely dangerous air quality. Please wear protective gears, stay indoors if you can and change your filters after!
This is a Heye Triangle box, a very fun and enjoyable puzzle. A bit of loose fit but I don't mind that at all.
This puzzle has been on my table since April, my neck has been bothering me quite a lot lately, naturally I didn't want to sit at my table for prolonged puzzling sections staring down. Finally I powered through it and finished today. It's the usual JvH busy comic puzzle, many little funny scenes to discover. The dogs, sheep and green covered men, they all make me laugh. I am super glad that it has horses, so I can proclaim that I did a horse puzzle for the Year of the Horse(I don't have many horse puzzles and didn't want to buy them just because of horses lol).

I have put some tilted puzzle tables in my Amazon cart, hopefully they will be on sale during Prime Day, I may have to cave in and get one to continue this hobby without sacrificing my neck and back.

What a fun and colorful picture! I loved it. This is another second hand puzzle, it's missing a piece, but it didn't really spoil the fun I had with it. The puzzle is from 2012, and the pieces feel much firmer than Ravensburger nowadays, which I actually like very much! The image looks busy and chaotic, but as long as you have the patience, it's not that bad.
Another fun wooden puzzle by Liberty. They are my favorite wooden puzzle brand, many poker themed whimsey pieces.
A lot of you probably have gotten the same email from LP about their Memorial day sale, 25% off! Enjoy!
