Another lovely nature landscape from Ravensburger’s Great Outdoors collection. These 300 piece puzzles are always a pleasant and quick way to while away some time. I love all the animals and the beautiful sky that can also be seen reflected in the water.
My first Grafika! Wonderful quality. Very similar to Ravensburger! Thanks to a special friend!
This is an image from Facebook, the town is far away and I won’t be joining. However, I was reading and noticed it states “No box sets please.” There was a discussion on this previously.
There are tiny sparkles throughout the whole puzzle. Beautiful image. One I would have never been able to do without the patterns on the back of the pieces. Very good quality. I was impressed on how the unique knobs worked with the cut to make it a fun challenge.
Exceptional quality! It was a shame to finish it in one sitting! A gift from a special friend. Pieces are thick! These pieces are 0.099" thick. The mini Le Puzz are 0.081". For reference Ravensburger is 0.084". A pieceof photocopy paper is 0.003" thick
The Six Portals by Rose Khan (Ravensburger 7k).
I made some good progress this week :)
What a lovely scene by a fave artist David Galchutt. It was a pleasure to piece this together. The woodland animals are all so cute, even the colorful snake that I typically loathe and fear. Isn’t the skunk just precious! I love this illustration!

Bought at McKays used books in Chattanooga for 12.95. I never pay that much for a used puzzle and never will again. Too much of a gamble. Dropping less than 5 at a thrift store is one thing, but almost half retail at a for profit store is really disappointing.
Lovely puzzle though. My first True South puzzle. Love the feel, the colors are great and the flesh tone of her face is like a piece of art.
So I learned a few things with this puzzle. I learned what a Flower Flash is. I had seen this puzzle image and another, similar floral collage in 1000 pieces (actually picked up one at Ollie’s for $4.99 too), but didn’t have a clue that the floral art I was seeing was actually floral street art installations designed by Lewis Miller Designs in NYC. What a great way for them to utilize excess flowers from events!
I found this entire concept very fascinating, immediately diving into their website and getting lost in all their many photos. While researching for a “G word that moves” within this image for Puzzlegories puzzle along event (like Scattergories), I also learned that a ghost bike is a roadside bicycle memorial and I was clued into the idea that the partially dismantled bike on the right side of the image that is partially hidden by flowers might possibly be a ghost bike. I live in a much smaller city than New York City, and we have street art that changes occasionally, but I can never expect to see such grand street art as these beautifully huge, colorful, and fresh floral arrangements. 🌷🌼🌹
