Boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend forgot she was cooking…
My chef boyfriend was living with his brother and brother’s girlfriend, both are mid-20s and still learning how to cook, and the gf left his smaller AllClad pan on the stove for god only knows how long (my boyfriend thinks it must have been at least an hour) and then she threw it in the dishwasher thinking that would fix it, but it looks like this. Is this salvageable? She said she’d replace it but it’s been a minute and she still hasn’t gotten him a new one. Trying to see if we can save it in the meantime.
EDIT: Happy to hear it’s salvageable! Gonna try BKF to make it look a little better and see how it cooks— we’ve been in the midst of moving and haven’t had a chance to test it since unpacking. Glad to know the damage is likely only cosmetic! Thanks for all your tips!!
