Is there anyway to save this warped pan? Left it empty on high heat by accident and now it is warped.
I have an induction stovetop so it really does not work unless I’m cooking only on the very sides. is there anyway to save it?

I have recently acquired a 10 inch D5 for $70 on ebay. I'm gonna go have a lovely time with it and not care about cookware for awhile. It's been nice y'all
Does anyone actually prefer the d3 stainless pans? Sauteing and flipping food feels much more natural for me on the d3 stainless pans which have the more concaved sides. Not a huge fan of the steeper sides on d3 everyday pans.
My chef boyfriend was living with his brother and brother’s girlfriend, both are mid-20s and still learning how to cook, and the gf left his smaller AllClad pan on the stove for god only knows how long (my boyfriend thinks it must have been at least an hour) and then she threw it in the dishwasher thinking that would fix it, but it looks like this. Is this salvageable? She said she’d replace it but it’s been a minute and she still hasn’t gotten him a new one. Trying to see if we can save it in the meantime.
EDIT: Happy to hear it’s salvageable! Gonna try BKF to make it look a little better and see how it cooks— we’ve been in the midst of moving and haven’t had a chance to test it since unpacking. Glad to know the damage is likely only cosmetic! Thanks for all your tips!!
16.99, 21.99 and 29.99 CAD. All D5. I keep an eye on the kitchen stuff every time I walk into a thrift store and I'll never get this lucky again.
It says D5 Stainless... But the cooking surface is nonstick, but only on the edges?
It looks professionally done, like it's meant to be this way?
My quick research suggests someone did this, but it looks too clean, there is no edge.
Found at a thrift shop
How many of you prefer to hand wash your All-Clad items instead of putting it in the dishwasher? Is it weird that I hand wash them because they are so freaking expensive in the first place?
I've officially reached the point where I'm tired of replacing pans every year. No matter what I buy, they always seem to end up scratched, warped, r the nonstick coating starts wearing off. I cook almost every day, so my cookware gets a lot of use and I'm starting to think I'd rather buy something that's built to last instead of replacing cheaper sets over and over again. Everyone keeps recommending All Clad and from everything I've read, it seems like it's one of those brands people buy once and keep for years. The problem is have you seen the prices? I understand paying for quality but spending around $600 on a cookware set just feels crazy to me. I don't care how good the pans are, I still have a hard time convincing myself to hit the checkout button.
The problem is that the amount I spend replacing pans every year probably adds up to that price anyway if they really do last as long as everyone says but paying the full price all at once hits your wallet a lot harder. I really want them because I don't want to keep spending money on cookware that doesn't last either. I'm just hoping to find them at a lower price so it doesn't hurt my wallet too much especially with all the back to school supplies I have to buy for my kids in a month. That's not going to hit my budget very well.
My wife and I own a set of all clad pots and pans and she picked this up at a thrift store today for a few bucks. Does anyone know more about this pan? We can't find another like it posted anywhere online. As far as we can tell it is likely from the 70s. If I wanted to refurbish it does anyone have a link to a guide on how I would do so?
Thanks in advance for any replies!
The website currently is not accepting orders and has ended product browsing.
My mother always said, don't let your sister borrow my AllClad pans and here is what they look like after they spend some time in her kitchen.
I don't understand how this happens or what is happening. Is it stove grease burning onto the bottom?
I cook with a few allclads and they all look as new as the day I got them. Can this be cleaned off?
Got this 12”, just found out about the homeandcooksales there’s one for 99 and 89, packaging damage or second quality. Curious if the seconds are bad or hardly noticeable also saw a D5 for 99 worth it to return this and go that route? I assume it’s a legit site and won’t get scammed.
Thank yall
As the title states. $139 for a 5qt D3 saucepan and 10% discount so really about $126.
I have a copper core fry pan already. Im wondering if this was a good deal or should I return and wait for a copper core off home and cooks
Just got this brand new 3 qt from Williams Sonoma in the mail. We noticed two little spots that look imperfect, just wondering if this is normal workmanship for All-Clad these days or if you guys think it slipped past quality control? I would hate to return over such a small detail and hate the waste of the returns industry but we did pay full price for this pot. One of the spots is almost fibrous, it looks like lint stuck but is definitely part of the metal/lip. The other is a small divot on the lip.
And usually savers is ridiculously priced 😭 the size pot I didn’t have!!!
Amazon prime day deal. I have been eyeing the D5 line for a while. D5 is not part of the prime day sale so for the same price as one D5 frying pan, I could get a 10 and 12 inch set of D3. But is it worth having both a 10 and a 12 inch?
Also, even after reading a bunch of other threads, still unsure if d5 is even worth the extra cost over the d3.
Currently cooking on a flat top electric stove (non induction) if that matters. Will likely upgrade to induction in the future.
Hi! Wondering if anyone had codes that work before I order my D3 Saucier. Thanks!
