People who are homeschooling to not provide IEP
Another episode of —those skrewing the system screws those in need— want to start by saying I have a 9 year old non verbal, non self directed, IEP, behavior intervention plan and documented self injury behaviors I am not worried about him losing PS based on his needs and data! especially with all of our documentation.
However i cannot help but notice all the parents who are pulling their children to home-school to eliminate the IEP. So that sw cannot ask for it.
What documents do they go off of?
I’ve seen posts and social media videos of people claiming they homeschool so they don’t need the IEP to give.
It seems rather fishy if they’re doing it just to not provide a IEP. It usually posts who say their child is doing well and the IEP is contradicting their ps claim.
That puts people like my son in danger of losing ps if we choose to homeschool I’ve been considering it because my sons behavior with demands being placed on him is so significant that school actually increases his SIB.
I am concerned since I willingly give the IEP but may be forced to homeschool him in the future since our district doesn’t have the support and his 1:1 aide is always absent or they are always hiring a new one.
Do para tests/certificates expire
Took one years ago for my local/county school district. Never used it I was a stay at home mom, been thinking about going back to work lately I feel like I need to retake this exam however I don’t know if it stays on file or where I’d find it?
Thanks
Does this look ok variations in stain
Top right pantry cabinet on first photo had a big finger print with stain so they had to take it and sand it again and restain it- when they brought it back it seems a little lights especially by the handle. These were refaced with new doors and drawers my previous cabinets were trash and so happy with these cabinets!!! But this door is bugging me a little maybe I’m over thinking it
I included a photo of the full wall of cabinets for better reference
Any recommendations affordable vet to get kitten spayed
I just started the gym- the last 3 weeks I was taking a mile walk to start this is coming from a stay at home mom that didn’t get much exercise besides chasing kids . My goal on my Apple Watch is always closed lol but I wasn’t doing any intentional workout.
My littlest just started school 3 days a week M-W so those days I can 100% commit to gym. Issue is I have no idea what to do when I’m there but I spend 30 min on the treadmill life some random weight (that think I look absolutely ridiculous because I have no idea what I’m doing haha) but how can I make the most out of my time there? I like the machines most I feel more confident using them.
I don’t want to lose much weight or care to I just want to feel healthier like I’m doing something for myself
I guess I’m looking for random tips for a super newby
38 female.
I was prescribed Zoloft a couple weeks ago I haven’t started it yet because I know it can make us more anxious for a bit while it kicks in and I have some important meetings coming up I don’t want to be even more anxious for; so I was going to stay on my kid summer vacation.
I am stating it for depression, anxiety and just plain caregiver burn out (parent to special needs children )
I’m worried it may make me even less motivated than I am?
