What is the safest legal way to establish residency in a lower taxable state while continuing to travel in your old state?

My current tax home and mortgage is in California. I’ve been thinking about buying a second home in a relatively less expensive state and establish residency while continuing to travel in California. What do I need to know? Do I need to document that I’m renting out my California home? Do I even need to buy in another state or should I just rent? Since it’s cheap I was thinking of just buying. I already know I need to be visiting my tax home every so often to maintain it as my tax home. I already have a consultation with travel tax scheduled tomorrow, I’m just thinking of ideas to bring up.

Could flock cameras have an upside?

Hi, this is just a thought experiment. I know plenty of people are against flock cameras and rightfully so. If I understand it’s mostly because of privacy and the information that our government has on us individually.

However, could flock cameras deter kidnappings and such other potential crimes? What do you think could be done differently to reduce the negative attributes of flock cameras and enhance the effectiveness? Maybe community access to those videos? Or as a case by case access?

Oakley meta vanguard inward notification light stays on while on auto capture runs.

I took a month off and now my inward notification light stays on during my auto capture runs. I feel that it’s draining the battery. It didn’t do this before. Anyway I can get it to go back to before where it would only turn on when it was recording?

Chaotic hospitals equals more business for travelers.

This is an unpopular opinion, but the more chaos the hospitals have the better for the travel market. I’m talking about excessive orders, unfriendly departments, low staffing, you have it. Whatever makes hospitals less likely to get and keep staff opens the doors to travelers.

This is a very insightful book going through all of the scenarios we might encounter when making first contact and establishing communication.

I am now skeptical that we may be able to communicate with aliens. But I am hopeful that we can still learn from the experience.

Temecula is blessed with its freeway exit destinations. Many of which must generate money for the city.

-Temecula Pkwy: Pechanga Casino/Oldtown/vail hq.
-Rancho California: Entrance to wine country/Oldtown
-Winchester: The promenade mall/ dealerships.
-French Valley Pkwy- if this exit ever gets done, it would be the only one that doesn’t really have much going on except for a few dealerships on the Temecula side as the west side pertains to Murrieta.

In you’re opinion which hoods have been the most devastated by gentrification? Are there hoods that used to exist and don’t anymore or any that have been reduced substantially?

I vote Woptown and La Colonia Eden Garden.
