my wife booked a return flight London to Montreal with Air Transat outbound on 23 June and return 27 June. she arrived in Montreal on Tuesday but has just been emailed by Air Transat to say her return flight is cancelled for “operational reasons” and she has been offered a flight on Monday 29 June which won’t arrive until 30 June but she has to be back at work Monday morning in UK. she can either take the new flight or be given a partial refund of £400 for the return leg. to book a new flight from Montreal to London on 27 June she will have to pay £750 for British Airways and Air Transat won’t cover the difference. is there anything she can do apart from suck it up?
