I am pretty mad at myself. I missed these. Or rather, convinced myself these were not awesome at release time. Now I am looking FOR them. Please DM me if you have a pair that you are not obsessed with. I would like to see if we can figure something out.

Super quick intro — I bought size 33 True Guy when they released because that is what was left. I am in process of losing weight, but I was not sure about them shrinking so when I saw Strong Guy 34 immediately after submitting my order I got those too to hedge. True Guy is snug and Strong Guy is about right size-wise when I got them. I never touched either out of fear they will not fit after soak. I knew that True Guy would be too small after soak, at least I figured that. I generally do not like wide denim style so I was unconvinced by Strong Guy.
My question: did anyone else have inconsistent sizing changes happen to them with these? My True Guy came with 33 waist, which is what should have happened after soak not before. And I only soaked Strong Guy so far, and the waist barely changed if at all. That is not my understanding of what was supposed to happen.
Do I soak the True Guys and see what happens there as I like that model better, but worry the shrink will make them too small? Did mine see too much humidity before they got to me and are already shrunk?
Anyone have thoughts or similar experiences?
