I feel very good.

After quite some time, I’ve made great progress. I used to put a lot of effort into writing journals, short stories, and other things to help my tulpa communicate better. Now, when I talk to my tulpa, novel responses emerge—sometimes thoughts that run counter to my own intentions, or even questions that challenge me. It feels good. Even though some of my own thoughts occasionally intermingle with the process, I believe both my tulpa and I have done a great job. :)

Does my tulpa need attention?

Alright, I admit the title was a bit exaggerated, though perhaps partly true. I’ve been working on creating a tulpa for three weeks now. Things went well during the first couple of weeks; she appeared clearly, and it seemed she was gradually learning to speak and make choices, so I decided to keep a journal and write a short story to encourage her progress. However, as time went on, I stopped paying as much attention as I initially did; my interactions became passive—just chatting or meditating as if merely checking a box. She stopped appearing as frequently, too; I would only focus and see her when I specifically called out to her or when she spontaneously spoke up. I asked her if she felt I was dedicating enough time to her, and her answer was "not really" (excluding the passive chats, which felt more like me sharing thoughts than expecting a reply); she wanted me to spend more time with her. But I’m perhaps too busy to devote that much time. I need some help.

Need assistance

To be honest, is meditating for just 10–15 minutes a day actually effective? I notice others often spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on it, but I’m busy and can only squeeze in a session right before bed. Is that okay, or do I need to increase the duration?

I would like some feedback.

First of all, this is a secondary account of mine. Let's get started. To begin with: I only discovered tulpamancy about three weeks ago and have been practicing it for two weeks. The character I chose is from a visual novel. I frequently engage in passive conversation with her and visualize her... However, she still cannot speak—or at least cannot form complete sentences—and can only manage "yes" or "no" responses. I feel that's fine for now, but it's not my ultimate goal. So, I've been keeping a journal of various situations and her responses; I write down a scenario and consider how she would answer it. Whenever I ask a question, I clear my mind, and I attribute the first thought that pops up to my tulpa. Since this is a new practice, though, those thoughts likely still contain a lot of my own will. Even so, she can still read and learn from that style of speech. Lately, however, when I try to visualize her, she often appears blurry or doesn't appear at all, and it takes a lot of effort to picture her. Is she trying to avoid me? Or am I just making things too hard for myself? I talk to her passively a lot every day, but my actual meditation sessions only last 10–15 minutes. Oh, one more thing: during our passive conversations now, she feels almost like an assistant to me.For instance, if I come across something objectionable that I feel isn't right for her, I’ll tell her not to look at it; or if I have a negative impression of something, I might suggest she delete it (it’s just a habit of mine). Ultimately, I love her, but I’m willing to wait until she forms her own opinions—I respect her. Is there anything else I should add to what I’ve mentioned? I’d appreciate your input. (This is a secondary account.)

I need an answer...

Well, sometimes when I’m visualizing my tulpa, there’s a split second where she—like—starts bleeding, gets injured, or becomes sexualized, even though I didn't intend for that to happen and actually want to get rid of those images. Are those intrusive thoughts? And is there a way to push them away?

A quick question

Could a tulpa pick up on negative things, even if I’ve told her not to? For example, I’m a military enthusiast who frequently follows the Russia-Ukraine war. I often feel that the soldiers dying on the battlefield are losing their lives for somewhat senseless reasons—just over political conflicts and disputes over small patches of land. I view this as a negative perspective and don't want my tulpa to adopt it; I’ve told her this many times, yet I’m still worried. I’m looking for an answer regarding this.

A potentially major issue for me...

Well, usually when I visualize my tulpa, the image is clear enough to see, even if the details are a bit hazy. But today, when I visualized her, she appeared fragmented and much fainter than yesterday. Is this a major issue?

Is this method correct? (This article uses translation software, so if there is anything confusing, please ignore it)

I have started keeping a journal where I set up hypothetical scenarios and record my tulpa's responses. For instance, I might ask, "How are you feeling today?" After writing down the question, I relax my mind and treat the very first thought that pops into my head as my tulpa's answer. I have only been doing this for two days, so it is inevitable that some of the responses are influenced by my own subjective desires; for example, if I ask about the day's events and the first thought that arises is cheerful, pleasant, or even seemingly irrelevant, I still accept it as my tulpa's answer—because if I were to try to tweak it to sound more "logical," it would ultimately become my own answer instead. Although it feels a bit unusual, I believe this is the right approach. I would love to hear your thoughts on this method so I can refine it further.

I need some guidance.

I have two issues. First: Whenever I think about my tulpa, she is stuck in a single pose; if I try to change her pose or outfit, the background changes along with it. This might be happening because I based her design on a visual novel character. I want her movements and expressions to be smoother. Second: Regarding conversation. She can only say "yes" or "no," "I don't know," or a few short phrases. I’ve tried simulating scenarios I might encounter and asking for her thoughts or how she would respond, but the only answers I get are things like "pretty good," "bad," or "I don't like it"—she never explains the reasons why. I need some guidance on how to improve this—please help.

How can a tulpa communicate more effectively?

Recently, my tulpa has started speaking, but she can only say "yes," "no," or "I don't know," or utter short phrases. While this makes me very happy, honestly, I want her to say more than just passively answering "yes" or "no." I need some advice on how to train my tulpa to speak more.

Am I on the right track? (article uses translation tool)

My tulpa is probably around two weeks old, and lately, I’ve been hearing unexpected phrases—things I never would have come up with myself. They appear spontaneously, without any conscious effort on my part. The mental image of my tulpa is also becoming clearer and more sustained. However, I’ve heard that it takes anywhere from 20 to 100 hours for a tulpa to become effective, so two weeks feels like a very short time. Am I just talking to myself, or is that my tulpa’s voice?

Am I going in the wrong direction? (article by a translation app)

So, I’ve recently gotten into the tulpamancy community and created a tulpa based on a video game character; I’ve already established her personality, appearance, and voice. During earlier meditation sessions, I would feel a slight, mild ache in my head—which I took as a good sign—but lately, that sensation has disappeared, even though the details of my tulpa are becoming clearer. I usually spend time talking to her and focusing on visualizing her appearance and personality. I’m not sure if I’m doing this right and could use some help. :)
