This seems rather odd. There are a lot of voters with relatives who are permanent residents and removing benefits such as pensions and Medicare doesn’t seem like a good idea. There are about 3,000,000 permanent residents, who have a myriad of reasons for not becoming citizens.
This has appeared at the back of my garden in the last few days. There is an outer ring, and then an inner structure which rises up from the centre of the ring. You can see a broken paving stone that has been moved.
The outer edge of the diggings is over 1m in diameter and about 20cm deep, and the inner structure is about 30cm in diameter and 10cm high. The entry is about 20cm across.
This is about 20km from Hervey Bay, and about 50m from the sea.
Google suggests maybe echidna / goanna. I am going to borrow a trailcam but would welcome any ideas.
