Positive experience

I saw an nhs neurologist today. I normally go private, bu went through the nhs for my mri.

I feel this doctor also works privately. As I told her I inject HCL and B12, as my Genova test showed I’m deficient, she was very encouraging and told me to keep injecting B12 and B1.
I mentioned I’m taking LDN for any inflammation and it’s helping

Slowly it’s working

I’m taking benfotomine 3 times a day, hcl injections 3 times a day and TTFD.

I’m not able to walk right now, but today I was able to change my shorts while standing, sign with my signature ( wasn’t able to do this before) and now can use a knife while eating. This may seem small, but it’s a small win against this deficiency!

Thiamine and hydroxo (B12) injections.

I have pernicious anaemia as well as thiamine deficiency.
I’m taking hydroxo injections and HCL injections. Am I able to combine the two? Saves me from poking myself twice.

Small or big wins!

I want to make a post about small or large wins.

I have a thiamine deficiency and can’t walk due to it.

Today I managed to wash my hair without feeling weak or exhausted. I managed to wash my hair twice and put on some treatment! I didn’t even need the toilet to pee!

Im taking TTFD, hcl and Benfo.

What small or big wins have you achieved?

Took B1 without knowing the protocol.

I messed up. I was taking B1 without any knowledge of what else to take with it. I was taking magnesium glycinate to help with sleep.
I was taking Benfotiamine 500mg x3, TTFD x3, HCL injections 100mg x3.

I was wondering why I wasn’t getting any better.

I’ve now stoped and following Elliot Overtons protocol.

Im now slowly taking TTFD 100mg x1, Benfo 300mg x1, HCL x100 x1.

When should I increase dosage?

Im unable to walk. Hopefully this will help. I had a confirmed diagnosis by a functional Doctor.

Iron glycinate

Can you take iron glycinate without lactoferrin? Becase lactoferrin is making breakout in acne all over.

Different types of B1

Who’s tried different types of B1 and what was effective?

I was on Thiamine HCL for 6 months and noticed no difference.

TTFD, no difference.

Benfotomine, I’m taking a therapeutic dose, as I can’t walk. Now and again I’m feeling zaps in my feet. Im taking it with good fats like nuts or avocados.

Has anyone tried Sulbutiamine?

Which B1 has helped you?

B1 & B2 deficiency confirmed

I had a Genova test which confirmed my B1 and B2 deficiency. I’m currently taking 300mg of Benfotiamine, 200mg of TTFD and taking Riboflavin.
I’m also taking magnesium glycinate.
I have no idea what I’m doing.
Has anyone healed themselves?

Lactoferrin issue.

Since I’ve been taking lactoferrin, it’s only been a week, my periods have been so heavy! My cycle is normally 5 days and since taking this it’s now 7 days. I’ve stopped taking it.
I thought lactoferrin helps reduce period pain, it hasn’t, I’m in so much pain!

I took this to help with my iron regulation.

Haematologist in the UK

I have an iron deficiency and a B12 deficiency. Has anyone here seen a haematologist for these issues?

I currently am unable to walk or balance, my hair comes out in clumps and my hands and feet are frozen cold. I have very dry lips which I moisturise with lip balm.

I’ve researched so much, as ive had three iron infusions and it hasn’t helped and expensive!
My private doctor has never mentioned this.

Has anyone tried Lactoferrin to help?

Lactoferrin significantly enhances nutrient absorption through several mechanisms

Iron Absorption, enhance mineral intake, supports digestive health.
Lactoferrin regulates iron absorption, Lactoferrin supplementation is effective in treating iron deficiency and anaemia.

This isn’t spoken about. Normally doctors give you supplements or an infusion and leave you to deal with dropping numbers**.**

I’ve no one to talk to about this. My husband isn’t interested and my mother doesn’t say anything.

The iron supplement I have has 100mg of Lactoferrin, which I will slowly increase to 300mg.

Here is the article that helped:https://www.water-for-health.co.uk/blogs/blog/the-benefits-of-supplementing-with-lactoferrin-for-gut-health-and-nutrient-absorption

I had my infusion yesterday, it was of 500mg ferininject and I had no problems with it. Hands and feet were so warm! Previously, I had an infusion of monofer and I reacted badly. Was short of breath, couldn’t catch my breath and I felt faint!
This time I took an antihistamine two hours before the infusion.

I was told by the nurse in a week to take iron tablets to maintain my levels. I lost a lot of blood after I had my daughter, so now trying to catch up. I’ll be taking FerraGlow and hope it helps.

I noticed when I’m iron deficient, I get a flaky scalp and dry skin.
