The journey this M2 has been on.

Bought as is $800 sat for two years. Shutter jammed

Finally got it “fixed” through YYE. (CLA & cleanings I’d recommend)

Jammed again, “as I mentioned it may jam again.”

Went elsewhere to fix and Just got it back from DAG, couldn’t recommend more.
Let’s just say he said who ever attempted to fix it prior shouldn’t have.

Anywhos, finally have it back w the 50 summicron DR.

Guidance: Picking a lens for the M2. Thypoch 50mm 1.4 Or Voigtlander Nokton 50mm 1.5 II MC

I’m challenging myself to carry it with me daily. But outside of street it’ll be lil gigs so use for portraits and concerts.

I was initially certain on the thypoch but the Nokton is so compact and won’t obscure the viewfinder as much.

Thoughts?

Sad times.

Thinking I’ll sell it for parts on eBay with the goggles and lens hood. I’m leaning to the Thypoch 50mm 1.4. Any thoughts or other recommendations for lens preferably 50mm. On a budget lol
