My kids are German citizens by descent; we have passports for them and we are now living in Germany.

When we applied for their passports last year in NYC we also registered their births and applied for their birth certificates. We were told that process is likely going to be 2-3 years.

Now that we are in Germany can we get a birth certificate at our local registry office?

Has anyone done this?

I am looking for a piano teacher for my daughter who is school age and new to the piano. Our primary language is English, however her German is improving (we’ve only been in Germany for 8 months).

Ideally something in the east side of the city but willing to travel.

I am newer to Augsburg and am still in the very early stages of learning German.

I (F) need a hair cut, nothing too complicated but certainly not something I can do myself.
