Hi, we’re visiting Santo Antao in 2 weeks and my wife suddenly thinks the world is going to collapse and is stressing out because she feels she can’t plan ahead. She has a few questions:

1. Do we need to bring a mosquito net to sleep safely?
2. Where can we buy snacks and water for during the hike?
3. Is phone and internet coverage good on the island, especially during hikes in case of an emergency?

I bet all will be fine, but for my comfort i’d like to confirm this to her. I’m looking forward to going there as it seems to be one of the most beautiful places on earth.
