It's a vertical horizontal crack on my canyon cf 8.

I did that coin test, where u check the sound of the carbon fibre and visual inspection do tell it's a crack.(My phone's camera is shit, so it's not that quite visible in the photo)

This bike has been a close part of me and my dad. I identified it today while I was cleaning it.

I haven't ridden the bike for around 4 months as I was busy with my work and college, maybe my dad rode it during that time. So this week I had some small rides around 30k around the city, due to rain it had got mud on its frame, while I was cleaning it i noticed the crack.

Even though he has serviced the bike last month, the mechanic notices nothing.

How did the crack in the bike occured??

It's so sad for me to see my expensive bike broke (in my country import taxes are 52% of the bike retail cost)

I'm getting all the blame for this frame even tho I didn't rode it that hard or far.

How did it happen? And What should I do? Any suggestions.
