Can we try to mould him into a world class finisher for us?

Can we try to mould him into a world class finisher for us?

Its clear he will always struggle at positions 3-5 in middle overs due to his weakness against spin. Even in SA tour where he made 2 centuries it was on faster tracks against a weak spin attack, so he has a very strong affinity for scoring runs against pace.

It will solve 2 problems for us - it will allow us to groom a finisher who can perform what pollard used to do, and free up space in middle order for one of Jacks/Dhir to slot in who have much better game against spin.

To all those who defend manchild and toxic behaviour in the name of aggression - this is what real aggression looks like

He taught a young and budding side how to play fearless cricket without crossing a line and upholding a sportsmanship spirit.

No unnecessary sledging, no tantrums - but still giving it back to those who try to bully you.

We lost him due to the Hardik trade.

Just imagine a player gives you a 400+ run season, scores a century, kisses your badge and then you backstab him like this.

Even now as he is going through an inconsistent form with KKR no one can accuse him of not giving 100% in efforts and intent every single match, which is something that I see missing from a lot of our senior players this season.
