Truth is we were an amazing, champion team winning 5 trophies and playing amazing quality of cricket. Another truth is that we are now a below average team playing mediocre cricket.

Since the very first season of IPL I have watched and always supported MI through thick and thin. But, I've never seen them play such hopeless brand of cricket. We used to be great at all segments of the game. Batting was class, fielding was amazing and bowling was fiery. Now we've just come down to some bright performances here and there and some wins here and there by chance. We used to fight, never give up and snatch wins from positions no other teams could back then. Polly was one big reason behind those championships.

Now I see catches being dropped regularly, bowling being so mediocre and batting so mediocre even average bowlers dominate us. As a MI fan it's painful to watch my team like this. Although I don't think Hardik is to ve blamrd entirely but he sure does have slme responsibility of this situation. Yes, we have had bad years before but always because of some missing links in the team. We were perfect this year! Just SKY's form not being the best shows how important his performances have been over the past so many years now. He was the one who carried the batting last year till playoffs. I Miss my team.

How did our two main bowlers failed so miserably this season?

These are stats of 2025 season boult was so good just one season back and this season he is completely dropped in so many matches. Bumrah still has a good economy but the wicket drought costed us heavily.

We fans don't deserve this

First of all let me get this clear, I'm absolutely grateful to all the players who helped Mi by giving their everything and making Mi 5 time Champions, but for me the team comes before anyone. NO ONE IS BIGGER THAN THE TEAM.

Now coming to the Mi dressing room situation, honestly it is getting absolutely pathetic day by day. It's not even about losing anymore, it's a sport, sure there will be wins and losses, both are part of the game, I can take a loss very well where we gave our all, yet we were just outplayed, it happens, what I cannot take is the saas bahu serial drama going on in the dressing room of Mumbai Freakin Indians.

This is to all of Rohit, Tilak, Surya and co, what are you? a bunch of teen girls doing catfights? If u really don't wanna play under Hardik, say it out loud to the Ambanis, sort things out like real men, don't do these pathetic antics please. It hurts me to say these things about the same players I've admired so much all these years, but if you're gonna play like this, completely ruin the dressing room environment, do politics and antics with your fellow teammates, then I'm sorry, I don't have any respect for you anymore. Those antics are sheer disrespect to fans like me who have supported you for 20 freaking years through ups and downs. We don't deserve your shitty political games, take it somewhere else please. Mi is not the place for that.

Now coming onto Hardik, his own performance is absolutely pathetic, what do I even say. When the half of the dressing room including heavy weights literally don't want you to succeed, what can you even do. I'm not giving excuses for his poor performance. If it was just about performance, Rohit's performance with the bat since 2017 has been pure mockery of a player of his stature getting 18cr per yr. It's not like we don't know how good Hardik can be, he was literally playing well even in the t20 wc.

Now coming onto Ambanis, yes the decision to suddenly remove Rohit and make Hardik the Captain was terrible. Yet the team we had from 2024-26, on paper at least, were not wooden spoon worthy. But we're about to get 2 of them in 3 years. When you see that the old heavyweights don't like your decision to impose Hardik on them, Ambanis should pick one side, either release Hardik, maybe make Tilak Captain and keep SKY, Bumrah and build from there. Or release Rohit, SKY, Tilak or even Bumrah, keep Hardik, give him the players he wants and build from there.

We the fans don't deserve this where both sides are making a mockery out of true fans of the franchise and they clearly don't give a shit about the reputation of the franchise, pride of the badge anymore. If all 3 of them are hell bent on not keeping their ego aside and solving this mess, I don't see how Mi is suddenly going to perform well in the next years when we sign 2 new great players.

We as fans don't deserve this disrespect and humiliation of seeing our beloved team get bashed by every single team cause the players are more interested in their petty games and stopped giving a shit about the badge and the owners not willing to keep their ego aside and accept their mistakes and rectify it.

WE DESERVE BETTER.

This wicket was such a blunder by the umpire

Naman was given caught behind by the umpire when even he knew that his bat didn't touch the ball.

Later in the replay the hindi commentary analysed the wicket and as per them when the spike was seen it was most probably by the leg stomping the ground and not the ball.

As the shadow of the ball on bat was away from the ball and not as how it should be when edging the bat. It was such a blunder by the umpire.

He could have easily score the much needed 15-20 runs or more.

Perfect replacement for polly?

Do you guys think Bosch is the perfect replacement for pollard which was very much needed since his retirement?

For me, Yes absolutely. Just hoping our management won't trade him off next year.

Guy takes big wickets, brings breakthroughs, catches, death over runs. Proper finisher type guy.

What on EARTH has happened to him !

how can one go through such a bad phase for such long time..

miss watching him come in and single handedly saving our ass

God i hope he returns to form on that England tour if* he gets a chance
