Account manager doesn’t want to be questioned
Context: I was told my relief called off at 10:30am and I’m out at 2:30pm. I called the person(Account manager) who told me that my relief called off. I called once after 30 minutes to ask about relief. They didn’t answer. I waited another 30 minutes to call again and no answer. They then put a thumbs up on my text and then immediately took it off. I waited for a text and got none so I called again. They sent a text that they can’t answer and to text. I simply ask if there was coverage found. They text back “If coverage was found I would notify you that coverage was found..”
I left it at that and just kept working. I didn’t call or text again. At 12:50 they text they found coverage. I text back a copy and thank you. They text back
“Yeah , moving forward please don't question me. If you're well aware that I communicate with you correctly when im available to do so.
I've always updated you if your relief calls off.
I update you with whether you have a relief or not. Thankfully another guard was willing to enter in for you. “
All I got was a text saying my relief called off. This same person has told me before that they have a bad memory and forget things often and to remind them of things because they have a lot going on. The text they usually send says how my relief called off and they are looking for coverage. Or they tell me that they couldn’t find coverage and I’m doing at 16 hour shift. Also they have more than once texted me that my relief called off only to say to disregard as they sent it to the wrong person. They also always text both my personal cell and the work cell phone. This time I only got it on my personal.
Once they texted me my relief was going to be an hour late when my relief was right in front of me. When I asked my relief about it, he said he didn’t know why that was sent to me. When I asked the account manager they simply said that my relief had told they were going to be late and that they just told me to inform me about it. They didn’t know why he was already there.
