My offer turned unconditional two weeks ago and I still haven’t received my CAS or my right to study check.

Anyone else in the same boat?

(Just anxious about Visa, especially since my country is usually delayed with the process)

So I really want to participate in Freshers as I do like going out. Problem is, I’m turning 18 in November. I do have a Canadian driver’s license that would probably work in smaller venues (if ykwim) but I’ve heard many clubs wouldn’t accept foreign ID, especially the big ones in freshers. I guess my question is will I miss out if I don’t participate. I still want to go out and stuff just not necessarily to the freshers events, but I’m assuming most people might be there so idk how to go about it. I know I can make friends during the day and ppl say freshers are overrated but it would just suck to stay inside while everyone around me is out yk. Should I just go and try my chance?
