BA 1:5 twist 8.5”. I had to drill the gas port out to .106 from .090 to cycle with factory Hornady subs with a 36m. Would not cycle with any a5 buffer before drilling the gas port. Now it is cycling 100% with subs, a5h2 at 4 o’clock.

To my surprise the Geissele mags (15 & 20) are cycling subs perfect through 100 rounds. I figured it would only run on the 400 legend duramags. Looks so much better with the G-moneys.

Going to be a fun quiet WV deer killer.

This firebox has fins on the bottom and all the ones I’m seeing online don’t. Can I get away with one without the fins?
The bottom of the traeger has a drawer to what I assume is a warming section.
