What kind of scam is this?
I ordered a mac mini, after buying at exciting price, i realized to do all scam check (my bad), this listing had mostly all the red flags, the scam i thought i was gonna get into was "fake legit tracking number scam" and i requested cancelation, meanwhile ebay deleted the seller's profile for policy violation.
now I called ebay for refund and they said i need to wait for the cancelation period to get over then i can create case for refund.
i received cancelation rejection yesterday.
today I received a partial refund email and shipped email untracked.
I know, i won't receive it, So how do it get all my money back, without triggering auto rejection on ebay system.
will "item not received" will work here? it should but i am still asking maybe someone experienced this.
my guess is that seller thought to get some money out of it, as most people will only see that they got refund from ebay and not notice partial refund.
