first of all yokoya's voice!!! to think it was gonna be hana-chan (hanae natsuki)!!!!! im so shook how they managed to bring him in as yokoya, i was hoping and expecting ever since the rest of the cast so far has been announced that yokoya's seiyuu will be someone in a senpai position to the others to balance the cast out, but wow never was it on my bingo card to hear hana-chan as him.

completely honest opinion after watching ep 12 and hearing his lines as yokoya tho: ngl putting aside the hype when i first saw the announcement of him as yokoya, there was also a gnawing feeling of hmm hows this gonna be because he rarely voices characters like yokoya so i couldnt put together a vivid image of his voice as him as easily as other candidates, but i imagined itll be something closer to cell war (mashle) mixed and divided with qifrey (wha) and after hearing his lines it did turn out to be kinda like this, the ominous and cold but also composed and somewhat graceful manner of speech/way of carrying himself... but i also cant deny theres a part of me that kinda wanted his voice to be a bit deeper after all, like ik he's only just a couple years above nao so it makes sense that he sounds young, but even then my image of his voice was something close to nojiken's soft, low but also dominating, lone-wolf type of voice, but yeah, overall its not bad at all, just gonna take some time to get used to, similar to akinao for me (fukunaga's was perfect imo right off the bat). and honestly the fact alone that we got hana-chan on lg itself is a huge win. whats everyone's thoughts on yokoya's voice?

btw hana-chan will also be attending AX this year for the kimetsu no yaiba panel again, so no idea if he'll appear for the lg panel too, ngl i kinda doubt itll happen, but still crossing my fingers anyhow... there's about 80 mins of the entire panel that's also gonna include sneak peeks of remow's other upcoming anime series but considering how lg is in the panel title itself and how its their ongoing series rn, im hoping it'll be the full main focus throughout (looks like theres gonna be an actual live game as well, maybe minority game?) so its kinda odd how their panel visual displays their other anime (a livid lady’s guide to getting even) instead of lg...

anway the 2nd cour pv and teaser visual came out, but (manga spoilers→) >!it looks like the 2nd revival round is also going to be included???!< i noticed they covered 4 chapters of the manga for the latest ep, but considering they keep this pace up, thatll be about 7 eps. unofficial sources claim that there'll be 24 eps in total, but i feel like it'll be 25 or 26 eps because then that'll be enough to cover the >!2nd revival round arc!< entirely in about 6 or 7 eps as well (god i swear pls dont ykw loll), otherwise itll feel rushed but who knows... but wow im genuinely surprised that theyre not gonna end s1 with the contraband, lets see how this goes.

and can we talk about how good hana-chan's laugh as yokoya is that's briefly shown in the pv.

also as expected we're getting a new op/ed song for the 2nd cour! i loved abuku and asahi so tbh i wouldnt have minded if they saved budget lol and kept the songs and then just changed the visuals or something, but all in and tarinai sound really good too, looking forward to the full vers!! i lwk thought tarinai was the op and all in was the ed at first because the ed played first and then the op in the pv but the lyrics and tone of each song makes sense how its like so. what are everyones thoughts on the new songs?
