When do I have to shift into hostel , is it on Monday when the orientation strts or tmr during the initiation program

Hi , I'm a 12th passout and I've been chasing engineering all this while and never rly cared bout bcom with acca until now but it's too late for colleges like christ and st Joseph's . My only options in front of me is some academy like elance but I'll miss my college life . I wanna take a drop and try to get into christ or sm other top college next year . Idk if thtll become a regret in the future but i realistically don't have a choice . I can still maybe get universities like alliance but is tht worth it? Help
