Do your summer camps hold dances?

I was visiting a camp that my troop has never attended. They were setting up for a dance that night. I was wondering if with girls now included dances were making a come back. I know at one time it was common to invite Girl Scouts or the Campfire Girls to camps for social events.

Edit: i dont think it was a specifically a couples dance. More of a general group dance.

AI deep fakes

How do deep fake sexual images differ from realistic works done with pin and paper. While I think we can all agree that making such images without the subjects consent is creepy as heck. Is there any case law from physical works that can be applied to AI? If not, can works using AI be specifically targeted? In short, can the law say it's illegal to create an image using this method while allowing a nearly identical image to be created via a different method?

Homemade ginger ale soda

A question for discussion.

Homemade ginger ale is legally non-alcoholic. However, since you do use yeast to create it, it does have a very low level of alcohol. The level can be similar to home made yeast bread. (yes, really). As such, what is your opinion for having it as a special treat at a Scouting activity?

Assume that the person making it was reasonable competent and didn't let it ferment for the several days it takes to make the alcoholic version.

I just replaced the thermostat housing and the coolant flange due to leaks. I get everything back together and there are no leaks. I'm flushing the coolant system, almost done with that. I reach in to check the temp on the heater hoses to see if there is an air bubble in the core, and the bleeder nipple breaks off. Now I have to wait another week to get new heater connectors. This is week three on replacing the thermostat, I job that takes 30 minutes on other cars.
