Pellets from Home Depot.

Ordered some shipped from the local Home Depot. Not sure why but they light. Not with starters, or even lighter fluid as a desperate attempt. Going back to Menards.

possible activities for 17 YO with cervical spinal stenosis.

Son just got a CSS diagnosis in C5-7 due to a rugby hit. He had a minor herniated disk that put pressure on some of the outside nerves (radial?) which had his hands feeling 'asleep' so we got an MRI and CT. CT was fine but the MRI showed the stenosis. That 'asleep' feeling cleared up in about 3 days and he's laying low for a month for the disk, but he's bummed because he loves rugby and that's now out. He's been completely asymptomatic since birth, through football, skiing, broken arm, a concussion, etc.

The surgeon met with us the next day and basically told him he can't do anything. No bike riding. No skiing. Running is questionable...

That seems... severe. If he is asymptomatic, to me it sounds like managed risk? Yes, ideally I'd like no risk to him, but he's also 17 almost 18 and want to find the most things we can do for him so he doesn't just say 'F it' and do what he wants. He wants to play pick up basketball with his buddies. He wants to go biking. He wants to go swimming. He wants to play pickleball. He loves working out.

Just curious as to other people's experience. We meet with a specialist next Tuesday and Thursday.
