Good locations near Fort Worth TX?

Hello everyone! Title says it all-I originally was going to go to a mud spot, but it was populated. The real issue I’ve been finding is that there are a lot of people near water down here in Texas, so I’m calling on you all! I’m attempting to find locations that are somewhat decent for sinking, are somewhat easy to get to (I’m okay with a little hike or trails) and aren’t heavily populated. I’d like it to be around 15-30 minutes away from forte worth, preferably in the area between Fort Worth and Hudson oaks

If I do find a good location, I am planning on posting pics here whenever I finally do my first sink!

Any mud is good-clay, swamp, or just regular plain mud.

Thanks for the help!

How to escape quicksand?

I’ve been lurking in the QS community for a bit, but never had a good time to actually do any mudding. However, I believe I have found a good spot to actually go to! I am planning on checking it out tomorrow-however, since I’ve never actually dipped into quicksand, I don’t quite know on how to escape it. So-how does one escape quicksand? I can’t bring too much-I still live with my parents, so they’d get suspicious if I brought a bunch of rope or something with me in my car, and I don’t have much in my possession for such an occasion since this is a bit of a jump of the gun. Thanks for any advice! (Photos are of the locations I’m planning on sinking at, if mud type changes the escape plan!)
