We are looking to add privacy to an existing 6-foot wrought iron ornamental fence (retrofit?). This is in an Austin Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) zone. Most of the fence is within 10’ of our home or a neighbor’s home.

Most of the privacy screens (like PVC or fabric) we've found are not WUI-compliant. We don't want to replace the fence because of the cost.

We also found some metal decorative panels on Home Depot that are quite expensive for the length that we need. Not sure where to find more affordable options.

Has anyone found an affordable, fire-rated/ignition-resistant solution to add privacy to an existing fence?

Would really appreciate any pointers. Thanks in advance.
