Is this root rot?

Noticed these white hairs on the roots. Is this mould? The top of soil is dry but pot had some water at the bottom which i have since removed

The center of the crown still feels firm.

7 months ago i trasnplantee my dead looking plant from water into soil.

This week it has bounced right back.

Patience paid off. Picture 1 is today, 2 and 3 are 7 months ago. This is in the UK.
