I’ve received a request from a dear family member for a hat in these colors. This was a baby hat in a hospital, so I’m guessing it’s cotton. Does anyone know what this might be?
I bought a Nurosym yesterday and was very disappointed and alarmed with their required post-purchase survey.
They state that as a requirement for them to ship the device you've already paid for, you must answer a list of questions so they can "make sure the device is safe" (not an exact quote) for you. These invasive questions include your full legal name, birthday, current medication list, all past and present health conditions, and what other alternatives you have tried prior to purchasing a Nurosym. (I mean, c'mon, you could maybe justify the others, even though it's incredibly invasive and scammy to ask after a purchase, but the last one is clearly solely for their benefit.)
There were also a few questions that seemed more legitimate, asking about specific heart conditions and whatnot that might be counter-indicated.
Giving them this data is especially dangerous because they are not a HIPAA provider, and therefore typical health information protection laws do not apply.
Honestly, I'm thinking about canceling my purchase. They're asking WAY too much money to be selling data about me as well. Although, they may reject my purchase anyway, since I literally answered, "I'm not giving you that information" for some of the questions.
Edit: I complained through their feedback form about this. To their credit, I received an email back stating that they would still send the product if I chose not to fill out the survey, and that they would remove my personal data from their system if requested. I had already done it (with bad data, see above) but asked to have my data removed anyway. I haven't gotten a shipment notice and haven't heard back yet if my data's been erased.
